History

In 1978, Jack McMullen founded Ohio Electric Control, Inc. (OEC) in the basement of his Ashland, Ohio home. OEC has been engineering and manufacturing custom electrical control panels for the water and wastewater industry since 1978. We pride ourselves in building a superior quality product, with timely delivery and at a competitive price.

In 2002 our staff decided to diversify their efforts to expend the business into the Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) Industry. Our OEM division has given us the diversification needed for growth. We build controls to meet our customer’s specifications or can engineer your total control system.

Finally in 2007 we moved to our new facility in the industrial park of Ashland, Ohio at 2395 Rock Road. With our continued success in the water and wastewater and the new facility, we are able to continue to provide outstanding service to our current and future customers.

Ohio Electric Control’s staff strives to make long-lasting relationships with our customers. The goal at OEC is to provide world-class service each and every day. The OEC staff welcomes the opportunity to work with you on your current and future projects.

What Our Customers Are Saying About Us
"Our company has relied on OEC for control panel equipment for over 20 years. We found long ago that we could rely on OEC to get quotes back quickly and accurately and manufacture a quality product just as quickly. The OEC staff and ownership have always been a pleasure to work with and we look forward to many more years of service from OEC."

- David S. Mitchell, President N.R. Mitchell Company
